The E-Festival is a two-day science festival, which will include events and speakers from a variety of perspectives in order to stimulate public dialogue and cross-disciplinary discussion of three "E" themes: ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT & ENGAGEMENT.
Friday, October 2nd at the Grace Street Theater, 7:30 PM: a staged reading and panel discussion of "LOUIS SLOTIN SONATA" by Paul Mullin, produced by the Carpenter Science Theater Company, and direcred by Paul Gard. This play examines the ethics, possibilities and dangers of scientific, energy research. A panel discussion will follow, which will include Mr. Mullin (the playwright), Michael Gordin (Historian, Princeton Univ.), Cynthia Kelley (Dir., Atomic Heritage Foundation) and Elizabeth Blue (Trustee, Science Museum of VA).
