After her graduation in 1952 from Richmond Professional Institute-- now Virginia Commonwealth University-- Suffolk native Judith Godwin moved to New York City where she continues to work today. The 25 paintings in this exhibition, produced during the 1950s and 60s, offer an in-depth exploration of a critical period in the artist's development.
The Anderson Gallery, located at 907 1/2 W Franklin, is free and open to the public.
