At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1) Evaluate the incoming literature on the subject of surgeon-performed ultrasound.
2) Review the uses of echocardiogram as a tool for evaluation of hypotension in the ICU and trauma bay.
3) Identify the echocardiographic windows and its use for function and evaluation of fluid status and pericardial effusion.
