| Description | |
It has long been known that patients who have chronic, persistent, or frequent episodes of atrial fibrillation -- a condition in which the upper part of the heart beats irregularly -- have an increased risk of stroke. Join Dr. Kenneth Ellenbogen, from the VCU Pauley Heart Center, as he talks about an innovative new treatment that can prevent stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation.
The seminar is free and open to the public, but registration is recommended. For more information or to register, call (804) 828-0123 or email seminars@mcvh-vcu.edu
