At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1)Discuss the history and advances in simulation (healthcare and other industries).
2)List and evaluate the pros and cons of simulation over ?real-life? training.
3)Describe the changes in medical school and surgical residency training and how simulation may impact education.
4)Review the current and future curriculum for surgical simulation and skills labs at VCU.
