The 21st French Film Festival presented by U of R and VCU will take place March 21-24, 2013,
at the Byrd Theater, located at 2908 w. Cary Street, Richmond.
18 feature-length films and 13 short film representative of the diversity of the recent French
cinematographic production will be presented by their directors and/or actors. They include
social dramas and comedies, romances, historical and literary adaptations, animations, a
documentary -on the aftermath of the recent Haitian earthquake, disclosing a variety of social,
political and cultural issues, France and the world are currently facing.
Films are in French with English subtitles. Q/A sessions with directors are conducted in French
and English. Student and Teacher Passes available.
