Please join us for VCU's 14th Annual Darwin Day to celebrate the life of Charles Darwin! Dr. Scott Edwards, an ornithologist and population geneticist from Harvard University, will be giving a talk entitled: "From reptiles to dinosaurs to birds: a view from the genome." Dr. Edwards is the Alexander Agassiz Professor of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and Curator of Ornithology for the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University. This event is free and open to the public. Come early for refreshments, and there will be a brief Q and A following the talk. This event is presented by the Graduate Organization of Biology Students, the Graduate Student Association, the Department of Biology, and VCU Life Sciences.
