On April 17th, SAVES (Sexual Assault and Violence Education by Students) at Virginia Commonwealth University will be hosting an annual event: Take Back the Night. According to RAINN (www.rainn.org), a person is sexually assaulted once every two minutes in the US. Take Back the Night is a movement intended to protest rape and sexual violence. Please join SAVES at VCU in addition to musicians, poets, performers, and speakers from the surrounding campus and community on Wednesday, April 17th at 6PM in VCU's Student Commons Commonwealth Ballrooms A&B to take a stand against sexual violence. Take back your voice, take back the night.
