Dr. Everett Worthington, VCU Commonwealth and SCHEV Outstanding Professor of the Year, will discuss different religious and cultural understandings of forgiveness and its health and social benefits for individuals, families. communities and even countries. An international pioneer in the field of forgiveness research, Dr. Worthington will share his own personal journey of forgiveness following his mother's murder.
