Everyone is invited to attend the Immigration and Race Symposium at VCU, Wednesday, April 5, 2017, from 3:30 pm - 6:15 pm. Location is the Academic Learning Commons at 1000 Floyd Avenue, Room 1102. Panel 1, starting at 3:30 pm will discuss Immigration Policy and its Impact on Education, with Mona Siddiqui, JD, and Saltanat Liebert, PhD, from the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. At 5:00 PM, Panel 2 will discuss Ethical and Historical Insights on Immigration, with Javier Hidalgo, Phd, University of Richmond, and Melis Hafez, PhD, VCU Department of History. This event is free and open to the public.
