Peripheral neuropathy is a relatively common side effect of cancer and its treatment. Peripheral neuropathy is nerve damage to the peripheral nervous system, which consists of the nerves outside of the brain and spinal cord and carries information between the central nervous system and the rest of the body. Join Dr. Zhijian Chen, a neuro-oncologist at VCU Massey Cancer Center, as he discusses cancer-related peripheral neuropathy. This seminar is free and open to the public and registration is recommended. Registration opens one month prior to the event. Once registration is open, register online at vcuhealth.org/events or call (804) 628-0041.
