  • Explain main features of VCU’s research conflict of interest policy and process.
  • Define interests to be reported into Activity and Interests Reporting System (AIRS) and who reports their interests.
  • Complete a Financial Interest Report in the AIRs system and access resources for support.
  • Define research misconduct and explain how it differs from research noncompliance and authorship disputes.
  • Identify how and where to report concerns or allegations about research misconduct.
  • Increase understanding of VCU’s policy and process for addressing research misconduct.
