Lecture on the Polish director and screenwriter  Krzysztof Kieslowski by JM Tyree, "Towards a Cinema of Unknowing: Notes on Kieslowski."   J. M. Tyree is the Distinguished Visiting Professor at VCUarts, the Nonfiction Editor of New England Review, and a Contributing Editor at Film Quarterly. His books include Our Secret Life in the Movies, an NPR Best Book of 2014, BFI Film Classics: Salesman, from the British Film Institute, and Vanishing Streets - Journeys in London, from Stanford University Press. He was invited to contribute ballots to Sight & Sound magazine's Greatest Films Poll (2012) and its Greatest Documentaries Poll (2014), and he has spoken at the National Film Theatre in London and the National Gallery in Washington, D.C.  Admission is free and all are welcome!
