The Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research and VCU Health's Office of Clinical Research invite you to a monthly series: Clinical Research in the Time of COVID-19. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, significant and rapid changes have occurred in how we recruit, screen and consent potential patients for clinical trials. For clinical research pursuits to be successful in this environment, researchers have had to adapt to a new normal of health care delivery. After months of research being paused, many researchers have resumed recruiting patients into non-COVID-19 clinical trials, taking extraordinary steps to protect the safety of their patients and staff. Please join Drs. Marjolein de Wit and Roy Sabo as they discuss adjusting the study design and data analysis for COVID-19.

This monthly series is intended to be interactive and cover a variety of topics relevant to supporting research. Our presenters will take questions ahead of time in order to ensure we cover topics of interest. Submit any questions to Lauren Harris at Lauren.Harris@vcuhealth.org or in the space provided in your registration. We will also utilize the chat feature in Zoom for questions that arise during the session.
