1. Outline clinical scenarios in which tissue preservation is essential
2. Summarize the broad differential pertaining to spindle cell lesions from core needle biopsy and small surgical biopsy specimens
3. Examine the use of the STAT6/MUC4 dual stain in working up spindle cell lesions from various anatomic sites
