The Department of Kinetic Imaging is pleased to present the KI Mixtape, a curated range of student sound art including: soundscapes, experimental sound, narrative audio, live code, music, performance recordings, and more!

Join us on Thursday, April 2nd at 6:00 pm for a listening partyin the Seipel Gallery. Enjoy a variety of sounds and refreshments!

Also join us on Friday, April 10th at 6:00 pm for a performance in the Seipel Gallery. The Kinetic Imaging Live Coding class presents an evening of algorithmic music and visuals created and improvised in real time. Using code as a performative and compositional tool, students write, modify, and remix live algorithms on stage, foregrounding process, experimentation, and collective learning. The performance embraces the Algorave ethos—danceable, exploratory, and transparent—inviting audiences to experience code as both sound and spectacle.
