This talk by Pulitzer Prize winner and historian, Kathleen DuVal, explores what the American Revolution was like for Native Nations.

From Bunker Hill to Yorktown to conflicts on the British colonies’ western border, Native nations were part of the American Revolution. How they participated in it varied depending on their circumstances, and their choices affected the outcome and history ever since.

This is a ticketed event and registration is required. Members of the VCU community, please see instructions on the history department website to enter a promo code to attend for free.

A reception and book signing will follow the talk.
