The Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences invites the VCU Community to view a traveling exhibit at the library from the National Library of Medicine, "Binding Wounds, Pushing Boundaries: African Americans in Civil War Medicine," The exhibit looks at the participation and contributions of African Americans as nurses, surgeons and hospital workers during the Civil War. The exhibit is open during library hours.
