International Clinical Trials Day is recognized around the world on May 20 to memorialize the day that James Lind started what is often considered the first randomized clinical trial aboard a ship in 1747. The C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research will host a Clinical Trials Day celebration on May 20, where staff will be available to answer questions about how to get involved with clinical research at VCU and how to participate in clinical trials at VCU Health.
