Title: Socio-behavioral Research Challenges & Opportunities

Objectives: 

  1. Discuss what constitutes socio-behavioral research
  2. Describe the most common challenges associated with the conduct of socio-behavioral research
  3. Understand the regulatory obligations associated with socio-behavioral research

CE: 1.0 CE credit hour for SOCRA CCRP Renewal. Only SOCRA members receive Certificates of Attendance.  The Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA - www.SOCRA.org) accepts documentation of candidate participation in continuing education programs for re-certification if the program is applicable to clinical research regulations, operations or management, or to the candidate’s clinical research therapeutic area.

About the speaker: Dr. Robins is a holistic adult nurse practitioner serving the community at the Health Brigade free clinic. Her program of community-engaged research focuses on cardiovascular risk reduction through effective stress management in high-risk and underserved populations. She places a high priority on spending time with family and friends and firmly believes in the health benefits of laughter and chocolate.
