In this session, we will look at how memes are made and how they can sometimes be used for spreading misinformation. In addition to considering the histories and techniques of meme creation, we will cover some internet forensic tools for analyzing some of the most viral images on the internet.

Please visit the Wednesdays in The Workshop (on the Web!) page for information on other workshops this semester--and come to any that interest you! This session is part of our special three-part Media + Democracy Series.

Sessions take place Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. at https://vcu.zoom.us/j/95636948085.
